Questions

Straight answers.

If yours is not here, ask us directly — we would rather answer it now than after you have signed something.

How fast do you respond?
Critical issues — a server down, a suspected breach, a location offline — get a live human immediately during business hours and an on-call engineer outside them. Routine requests are typically same-day. We agree the exact response windows with you in writing before you sign, so the number in your agreement is one we intend to hit.
What does managed IT actually include?
Monitoring, patching, antivirus and endpoint protection, backup, vendor coordination, staff onboarding and offboarding, and unlimited helpdesk for your users. Hardware, licensing, and major projects are quoted separately so you always know what is service and what is spend.
Do you charge per device or per user?
Per user, in most cases. People carry a laptop, a phone, and sometimes a desktop, and charging per device just punishes you for that. Server and network infrastructure is priced separately. Everything is flat monthly — no hourly surprises for things we should have caught.
We already have someone handling IT. Can you work alongside them?
Yes, and often that is the better arrangement. Co-managed IT means your internal person keeps the relationships and the institutional knowledge while we take on monitoring, security tooling, after-hours coverage, and the projects that need extra hands.
Can you help us meet cyber insurance requirements?
That is one of the most common reasons people call us. We map what your policy or renewal questionnaire asks for against what you actually have, close the gaps, and give you the documentation and reporting to prove it — multi-factor, endpoint protection, backup testing, and training records.
Do you come on-site in Columbus?
Yes. Most issues get solved remotely in minutes, but cabling, new office builds, hardware swaps, and the occasional conversation that is better had in person all happen on-site across Columbus and central Ohio.
What happens to our data if we leave?
It is yours, and you leave with it. Documentation, credentials, and configurations get handed over to you or your next provider in full. We would rather earn the next month than lock you into it.
